Search game form before Agent role: use cheap falsifiers and bounded playable proofs to find a form worth playing, then test whether Agent participation creates value a simpler design cannot.

Separating GameForm from AgentRole, rejecting weak forms cheaply, and requiring bounded playable proof plus human Player Value evidence will produce better product choices than starting from an Agent-native mechanic and designing outward from it.

A sophisticated Agent mechanic can be technically real and still fail to produce a game worth playing. Product direction should therefore be selected by player-facing pressure rather than by the desire to showcase an Agent architecture.
Continue from the cheapest claim-preserving pressure for the actual current question: use machine/Agent counterfactual and OOS evidence for structural product defects, then acquire targeted player or market evidence only when the residual claim is specifically comprehension, tension, preference, replay desire, or broader demand. Do not make one Human session the default gate or population oracle.
No candidate survives direct player pressure, or a simpler non-Agent/classical form reproduces the same player-facing value with lower complexity; in either case do not promote the Agent treatment into a product thesis.
